That word was used in the tech world before it was adapted to the gender confusion thing, Rachel Castle. The only other appropriate word would be "accessible" which would (seem to) imply a physical handicap consideration ... which "sight" is, I suppose, but "accessible" is more associated with wheelchair ramps and the like. Making a point to misinterpret that type of sentence is a problem since it's all about teaching the younger generation that smart is dumb
